A Closer Look – M403
The 403 is small, simple, but still nicely designed. The cooler comes with a 92mm Xilence fan pre-installed and it looks pretty smart with that black and red colour scheme.
The fan is held in place with retention clips, so it can be easily removed, upgraded or swapped to the other side of the tower. You’ll also notice the heat pipes lean to one side, which will help prevent the fan from conflicting with your RAM modules.
There’s a good size fin-stack on offer, with shaped fins to help better direct the airflow.
Three 6mm heat-pipes in a pass-through U-shape should help heat move efficiently through the cooler.
There’s a pair of screw holes at the sides of the block, which are used with the included screws to fit either the AMD or Intel mounting kits.
