ZADAK511 Showcases SHIELD RGB Series DDR4 Modules and SSDs

There might be a good chance that you’ve never heard of ZADAK511 or Z511 LAB and that’s nothing to worry about – most haven’t. The company was founded by a group of enthusiasts from various areas and they’ve now shown off their unique DDR4 memory modules and Solid State Drives. These are the first software controlled RGB ram modules that don’t require any extra cabling for the control and the first dual interface RGB Solid State Drive. And as we all know, RGB makes anything better.

Originality is in charge. Success starts with tension to detail. We are always one step ahead. With infinite creativity and unlimited possibility, modding changes everything.

Founded by Z511 LAB with a group of modders, PC and console gamers, and high tech people, ZADAK511 has style. There is no need to shout when we have this much presence.

There currently are a few LED memory modules and SSDs on the market, but none of them can do what this new SHIELD RGB series can do. They both feature an aesthetic combination of aluminium and steel, combined with RGB LEDs for a superb color show.

A unique heatsink isn’t the only thing that makes these memory modules great. The DDR4 DIMM modules run with frequencies up to 4000MHz at a 1.35-volt power consumption. We can also be pretty sure that there’s headroom for some more overclocking when we consider that the team behind the modules partly come from the overclocking scene.

The SHIELD SSD is the world’s first dual-interface SSD that features both an SATA3 and a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C connector and as there’s only one such on the market, we can assume that the ZADAK511 SHIELD SSD is built upon Apacer’s AS720. You might remember our review of the drive from a couple months back. The SHIELD SSD also comes with the same performance rating of 540MB/s reading and 450MB/s writing.

How exactly the RGB control works is unknown, but we’ll definitely try to get both the memory and the storage drives in for a review so we can test it, show you, and tell you what we think. Price or availability wasn’t disclosed at the time of writing.
