CrystalDiskMark – Sequential Read
Unlike the other systems we’ve reviewed, Zoostorm hasn’t included an NVMe boot drive and this is reflected in the significantly slower read speed. Also, the 5400RPM mechanical drive cannot compete with 7200RPM alternatives although the added storage space is beneficial. On another note, the USB 3.0 read rate was excellent.
CrystalDiskMark – Sequential Write
In terms of write performance, the M.2 boot drive did quite poorly and it’s probably going to be outclassed by many other systems once they arrive. The mechanical write rate was decent and USB 3.0 performance remained pretty solid.
