ZOTAC GAMING Announces ALLOY microATX Computer Case

It looks like ZOTAC is looking to further increase their catalogue of gaming accessories. Known primarily for their GPUs, they’ve just announced the ZOTAC GAMING ALLOY, a micro-ATX chassis that brings their signature geometric aesthetic to the outside of your build.

The ZOTAC GAMING ALLOY

If you’ve ever owned a ZOTAC GAMING graphics card, the ALLOY will look immediately familiar. It features the same sharp, geometric motifs seen on their hardware, creating a cohesive look for fans of the brand. Despite being a micro-ATX case, it’s surprisingly roomy, capable of housing flagship GPUs up to 412 mm in length, meaning you won’t have to compromise on power just because you’re opting for a smaller footprint.

The case is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring quick-detachable panels on all sides and a push-to-remove front dust filter. It’s a nice touch for those of us who dread the quarterly “dusting of the PC.”

Key Features

  • Geometric Design: Styled to match the aesthetic of ZOTAC GAMING graphics cards.
  • Broad Compatibility: Fits micro-ATX and mini-ITX boards, AIO radiators up to 360 mm, and GPUs up to 412 mm.
  • Optimised Airflow: Supports up to 10 fans with a ventilated front panel and sloped bottom shroud.
  • Fast I/O: Features a 10 Gbps USB Type-C port and a 5 Gbps USB Type-A port on the front panel.
  • Quiet Operation: Includes vibration-dampening pads for fans and hard drive mounts.
  • Easy Maintenance: Tool-free panel removal and accessible dust filters.

ZOTAC has clearly prioritised thermal performance here. The sloped bottom shroud is an interesting inclusion, designed to direct air upward toward the GPU. Depending on which model you pick, you can get it with three 120 mm PWM fans pre-installed, or as a barebones chassis if you already have your own cooling solution in mind.

It’s also surprisingly modern on the connectivity side, offering a proper 10 Gbps USB-C port, which is often the first thing to get cut on smaller, budget-friendly cases.

What We Think

It’s always great to see more competition in the mATX space. While many brands are pushing toward massive “aquarium” style cases, the ALLOY feels like a focused, high-performance box for gamers who want a compact setup without losing the ability to fit a massive RTX 5090. If the pricing holds true to the initial listings, this could be a very tempting option for a mid-range build.

Where to Buy

The ZOTAC GAMING ALLOY is rolling out initially in the Asia-Pacific regions, with four models available in either Black/Gold or White/Silver.

Based on early listings from Hong Kong retailers, the ZC-MAB3F-01 (Black) is priced at approximately HK$399 (£40/$51), while the ZC-MAW3F-01 (White) sits at HK$439 (£44/$56). We expect to hear more about UK and European availability and pricing shortly.
