ZOWIE EC2 eVo Gaming Mouse Review

ZOWIE have produced two models of mice that both seem to be very good, and while the differences between them don’t really make much difference in the real world, it does allow you some ‘customisation’ as such, but for that you could do with trying out both. In my opinion I preferred the dimensions of the EC2 mouse as it felt more natural as it is closer to the more standard mouse shape.

The EC2 may look almost identical to it’s predecessor, but the slight revamp under the hood has increased the already remarkable performance. Whilst ZOWIE  could do a lot more with their mice, such as include more technology and features, they have stayed true to their philosophy, putting extreme performance above anything else. It’s nice to see a company taking a step back from all these gimmicks and fancy designs to focus on the core functions of what a professional gaming mouse should be about, and for this ZOWIE, we salute you.

As this product is available for a very respectful $49.99, it has certainly held it’s value despite the large influx of gaming mice into the market, yet  you certainly get a very good mouse for not too much money, and while it might not have all the latest and newest gaming technology, it certainly won’t let you down in the heat of the moment. It stays true to gamers, offering nothing but raw performance, so for these obvious reasons, we are awarding the ZOWIE EC2 with the following award:
