The mouse comes hard wired with a pretty standard cable and a gold plated USB connection.
The mouse is rather simplistic in terms of design, there is a nice symmetrical shape to it and the plastics are a nicely finished, if somewhat understated matte black.
The left and right side of the mouse each feature two side buttons that are slightly recessed into the curved side, this curve provides a nice gripping point that is great for claw-grip play styles.
The matte black finish is broken up by two yellow highlights, the Zowie logo at the back and the scroll wheel.
While the mouse is large enough to be used for palm-rest, its curvy design is certainly more comfortable with a claw-grip play stlye and combined with the light weight it’s ideal for using a lift-off technique too.
The mouse buttons each have a curved recess to them that provides a really nice finger resting position and the switches have a really nice and strong tactic click to them, while the mouse wheel has a nice “bump” to it when rotated that will help with accuracy when toggling between weapons mid-game.
The underside of the mouse is pretty neat and tidy too, just two large Teflon slip mats, the sensor in the middle and a small button with an LED indicator. The button is used for toggling the DPI settings and the LED will cycle through four colours to let you know which one is selected.
