ZOWIE, BenQ’s professional Esports equipment brand, has today announced the launch of the new XL-X Series Gaming monitors, the XL2546X and XL2586X. The new monitors feature Fast-TN panels and exclusive DyAc™ 2 technology with a new dual backlight design for clear motion and precision gaming.
These two new monitors have been designed to offer professional gamers with everything they need to stay on top of their game including a 1080p resolution with refresh rates of 240Hz (XL2546X) and blazing fast 540 Hz (XL2486X). Both use TN panel technology which allows for these faster response times when compared to IPS giving eSports gamers an edge over the competition.
Both monitors make use of the new DyAc 2 technology, Zowie’s dynamic accuracy mechanism for best-in-class motion clarity and superior overall visual experiences. This is a significant upgrade of DyAc 1 as it now utilises dual backlights with greater precision control to achieve a higher level of motion blur reduction and ghosting minimisation, together with softened light output to facilitate eye adaption.
Moving from the displays themselves, Zowie has implemented an all-new height-adjustable design with industrial-grade bearings which allow gamers to set the ideal position on the flight, gliding without stuttering or over-adjusting. This allows users to get their monitor into the ideal position in the shortest time possible.
For more information about the XL-X Series, please check the ZOWIE website and stay tuned to Zowie’s social media for information regarding availability or experience events in your region.
The 240Hz XL2546X model is available now, the XL2586X 540Hz model will be available at a later date.
