Alpenföhn K2 Dual Tower CPU Cooler Review

The front of the hefty, black box features an image of the K2 alongside Alpenföhn’s brand logo and the K2’s product logo. An advertising slogan which reads “Face your destiny and use our strongest weapon in your fight against the heat!” implies that Alpenföhn really do mean business with the K2.
Detailed heatsink and fan specifications are listed on the side of the box as well as CPU socket compatibility.
Some more information about Alpenföhn’s cooler and the reasoning behind the name is listed on the opposite side of the box.
The bundle consists of the necessary Intel and AMD mounting hardware, a universal backplate, 4 pairs of fan clips, a small tube of thermal paste, a molex-powered 7V noise-reducing adapter, a standard installation guide and a separate LGA 2011 installation guide.
