Asrock introduces its 9 series motherboards

Asrock has taken its time to release its 9 series motherboards, both ASUS and Gigabyte already released their’s last week. Asrock is hitting the market with two models a high end 990FX board and a enthusiast mid range 970 board. These boards are designed to support the latest AM3+ processors when they come out and also offer the features of the new 9 series chipset by AMD. Asrock is stepping up the mark when it comes to quality to try and match the military class of MSI and ASUS.

The 990FX board will be called the Asrock 990FX Extreme4. This board is going to be equipped with the 990FX chipset and 950 South Bridge chipset.

The 990FX board has lots of features to keep the consumer happy:

The 970 Extreme 4 Model is less equipped but still a fantastic board and knowing Asrock will hit the market at an extremely competitive price.

    nice looking boards.love the fact that Asrock include a 3.5" USB 3.0 adapter. much more useful than PCI backplates!

    good. the fatal1ty boards r well overpriced IMO and they dont offer much over the other boards apart from the colour scheme :rolleyes:

    I like the colour :p and I have to admit the P67 board was silly extra Sata ports,USB and a IDE (dunno why they added that) was all you got :rolleyes:

    Asrock are making solid boards now, but if the price is not right think people will go with Asus Gigabyte and MSI.

    Ye, Theyr boards r always improving!I'd have no problem buying an asrock board. Only thing I dont like is that they only have 1 year warranty Iirc 🙁

    From what I have seen is that they mainly use 3 year warranty's

    I think it really depends on the territory. ASRock's Philippines distributors is giving consumers a full 2 years manufacturer's warranty, and sometimes, re-sellers do add their own in the mix(6 months – 1 year warranty).
