Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H Z77 Motherboard Preview

As we have seen a lot just recently, Gigabyte have packaged the board in a crisp white box and over the front we are inundated with highlights on different features that this board boasts including Gigabyte’s Patent Pending 3D power and 3D BIOS technologies. We can also see that the board features Ultra Durable 4 components for protection against high temperatures, humidity, electrostatics and power failure. To the side of this we also see that the board is constructed on the new glass fibre PCB for extra humidity protection, which whilst not be of much use over here in the UK, over in Taiwan where the production factories are, this feature will certainly show its worth.

Flipping the box over we have yet even more information into particular aspects of the board, particularly the 3D power, 3D BIOS and Ultra Durable 4 features. There is also an initial insight into the design of the board and further to the right, more information on VirtuMVP, Intel Smart Response, Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB2 and Gigabyte dual LAN.

Paperwork wise, Gigabyte supply a multilingual installation guidebook, user manual, a manual in French and finally a driver & utility CD.

Alongside the manuals and CD we find a single SLI bridge, two blue and two black SATA cables, one of each is right angled on one end, and a coloured I/O shield.

Last of all, there is a 3.5″ front panel USB3.0 extension bracket with a USB3.0 native header on the other end for connection internally to the motherboard.
