Final Thoughts

How Much Does it Cost?

The 1More Triple Driver Over-Ear Headphones (H1707) are available now from Amazon. You can pick up the Gold edition with an MSRP of £199.99. The Titanium/Silver Finish is listed with an MSRP of £219.99. When I first heard of these, I’m sure they were closer to £249.99. However, the gold model may not be as popular in the EU, as it’s now reduced to just £143.00 on sale, while the Titanium remains fixed at £219.99. My top tip, keep an eye out for more deals, and keep in mind, they’re both the same headset, it’s only the colour, so the Gold version is a killer bargain right now. Regardless of deals, I would comfortably pay up to £249.99 for these, they’re worth every penny. There are sets that cost much more and I’d still rather have the 1More.

Overview

Without a doubt, this is one of the finest sets of headphones we’ve ever had the pleasure of testing. That’s saying something too, as our testing over the years goes into the triple digits for headsets and headphones. We’ve battle tested the 1More for a good couple of months now, and we just can’t get enough of them. For all our movies, music and gaming in the office and at home, they’re the ones we reach for first.

Value for Money

Just because they’re a bit expensive, doesn’t mean they are truly expensive. For the sheer level of performance on offer, they’re priced criminally cheap. Not that I want to see 1More put the prices up, obviously. Truly blown away with the performance on offer here, and they’ll certainly take some beating. Furthermore, the quality of the cables, the carry case, the choice of build materials, all are perfect. You get what you pay for here, and then some.

Hi-Res Certified

I was sceptical of a high-end set of headphones that weren’t using just single drivers, as many do. Many of the finest headphones in the world are built with just two drivers. However, with a total of six drivers, and able to produce a range from 20 Hz – 40 kHz, and crystal clear sound, our scepticism was misplaced. Rated for Hi-Res audio playback, ideal for any kind of music, movies or games, the 1More get thumbs up in every section.

Should I Buy One?

A lot of people are happy with the free headphones they got with their phone. Furthermore, many just want a gaming headset with a boom microphone, and that fits their needs. There are lots of affordable solutions out there that are honestly fantastic. However, if your mind is focused on hearing the raw performance of a music score, movie, or your favourite game, the 1More are the way to go. You do pay a fair bit more, but in the grand scheme of things, these are not only some of the best high-end headphones we’ve tested, they’re also some of the most affordable and accessible audiophile headphones on the market today.
