Power draw is a big topic for graphics cards with some of the top-end cards drawing upwards of 400W but luckily down at the mid and low end, we will be seeing lower power draw in particular with the RTX 4070 compared to its predecessor.

RTX 4070 To Have a 186W Average Power Draw

In figures released by NVIDIA, shared by VideoCardz, about the RTX 4070 it has been shown that in real-world gaming scenarios, the card draws an average of 186W less than the expected 200W TDP. What this tells us is that we are expecting a card with RTX 3080 performance at almost RTX 3060 power draw which is a good step in the right direction.

The RTX 4070 is set to release April 13th with 5888 Cuda Cores, 12GB GDDR6X and at a price of $599 though with a week and a half to go, NVIDIA could change anything.
