A Complete Guide To FSR 3 Games

AMD’s FSR 3 technology has been slowly but steadily growing in use since its official launch back in September. Throughout the first month of 2024, many more games have been receiving support for the technology which is set to grow considerably throughout the coming year, so here is a quick guide to FSR 3 and the games that make use of it.

What is FSR 3?

FSR 3 or AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3, is an upscaling technology which rivals NVIDIA’s DLSS and Intel’s XESS technologies. FSR 3 introduces massive frame rate boosts in supported games by using a combination of super resolution temporal upscaling and frame generation using AMD Fluid Motion Frames interpolation technology.

This technology is very similar to NVIDIA’s DLSS 3, however the advantage of FSR 3 over DLSS 3, is that you don’t need an NVIDIA 40 series GPU and frame generation can be used on any GPU RTX 20 series or Radeon RX 5000 series and above. Of course it still requires developers to integrate it into their games, so let’s get into who has done so.
