Alleged photos of a prototype PS5 console dubbed ‘Slim’ has appeared online.
These photos were initially shared on Chinese A9VG forums (via VideoCardz) and show off a console chassis named CFI-2016 which resembles a slimmed-down version of the PS5. The initial photo was shared by Andrew Marmo on Twitter with little information but BwE_Dev followed it up with a more detailed video look at the design. The console itself looks mostly the same except it features a strip along the side, a concave curved centrepiece and is supposedly 5cm shorter than the original PS5. Some claims also state a dual USB Type-C on the front as well as a less curvy blue-ray drive enclosure.
This console could be the rumoured PS5 Pro or PS5 Slim as it has been named which makes more sense due to its smaller size.
