Drive Comparison
When we look at hard drives in general, there is a certain plateau of performance that they all hit and what restricts them from going above and beyond this mark is a combination of spindle and interface speed. As a result, we see all modern hard drives generally performing at around the same level. The only exception here is the 10,000rpm VelociRaptors from Western Digital which obviously spin a lot faster than the standard 7200rpm counterparts.
