ADATA Unleash New XPG LANCER NEON RGB DDR5 Memory
Peter Donnell / 1 month ago
I love a good RGB memory kit, and while I’m not an RGB junkie these days, I do find them one of the more pleasing and subtle RGB additions you can make to any PC build. Today, the memory experts at ADATA have unleashed another amazing-looking memory kit, with their brand new LANCER NEON RGB DDR5 gaming memory modules.
The LANCER NEON RGB adopts an exclusive heat-dissipating PCB coating, which they say will greatly increase heat dissipation and the efficiency of the cooling. Furthermore, there’s a large heatsink too, so that’ll help maintain those higher clock speeds and improve both performance and stability, while also enabling more extreme overclocking capabilities.
For the RGB part of everything, the LANCER NEON RGB boasts an RGB illuminated area of 60%, offering a rather stunning light show from its diamond-patterned heatsinks that are sure to look epic in and gaming PC.
They’ve also used PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic, IMR (In-Mold Roller) transfer technology, and FSC-certified packaging, so while they’re RGB in your build, they’re greener for the planet too, which is always a welcome bonus.
Exclusive Heat Dissipating PCB Coating Improves Heat Dissipation Efficiency by 10%
LANCER NEON RGB DDR5 gaming memory utilizes an exclusive heat dissipating PCB coating which provides top-notch heat dissipation stability and heat radiation. The optimized heat-dissipating solder mask layer not only insulates but also possesses excellent heat dissipation and heat conduction characteristics while cooling through radiative heat dissipation. This heat-dissipating coating significantly increases heat dissipation area when compared with traditional overclocked memory heatsinks, improving heat dissipation efficiency, and mitigating memory heat generation when running at high clock speeds. LANCER NEON RGB memory with this cooling solution runs at an average 8.5°C lower than standard overclocked memory, improving heat dissipation efficiency by up to 10%. Enjoy extreme overclocking while maintaining high performance and never compromise on speed. In addition, this coating makes a discrete memory heatsink unnecessary, broadening the scope of gaming aesthetics available to gamers and overclockers.
Environmentally Friendly Inside and Out and Industry Leading 60% RGB Illumination
The new LANCER NEON RGB memory module sports an industry-leading 60% RGB illuminated heatsink. In addition, its manufacturing process and production materials are rooted in sustainable ESG concepts. As the first DDR5 RGB gaming memory module on the market produced through eco-friendly processes, the LANCER NEON RGB’s heatsink utilizes 50% PCR plastic, reducing product carbon emissions by 72.5%. In addition, the heatsink surface is embellished with IMR technology which is both environmentally friendly and produces zero waste gases in compliance with EU regulations. Furthermore, the LANCER NEON RGB’s packaging is also environmentally friendly and carbon-reducing. The outer box is made from sustainable FSC certified paper and is paired with an inner tray made of 30% environmentally friendly PCR plastic in an effort to implement environmental protection and carbon reduction inside and out.
LANCER Design Language Evolved
LANCER NEON RGB DDR5 gaming memory inherits the triangular geometric design language of the XPG LANCER family while embodying the spirit of “GAME TO THE XTREME.” The module’s design has evolved from a flat triangular pattern to molded three-dimensional pyramids. Whether illuminated or not, the LANCER NEON RGB exudes an understated style coupled with a sense of exquisite precision. When lit with RGB effects, the heatsink’s multi-angle diamond surface focuses and refracts colors in a splendid visual extravaganza. In addition, LANCER NEON RGB supports Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO, ensuring that the module maintains stability when achieving extreme performance, allowing gamers to enjoy a smooth sense of speed. A total of five clock speeds, 6,000, 6,400, 6,800, 7,200 and 8,000MT/s, will be available at launch in two capacities, 16 GB and 24 GB, packaged as single/dual memory module kits.
