How Much Does it Cost?

The ADATA XPG Invader tempered-glass PC case is available from today. The MSRP is just £77.00, however, we didn’t have retail links at the time of writing. Of course, we will update these as soon as they become available. Alternatively, you can check for stock updates on Amazon UK here and Amazon US here.

Overview

ADATA may be better known for their high-end memory products, and rightly so, they’re amazing. However, their gaming division “XPG” has really been spreading its wings in recent years. We’ve seen award-winning gaming mice, keyboards, headsets, gaming chairs, and more. Of course, PC cases too, such as the Invader we’re reviewing today. I must admit, it’s a belter of a case. It has the right look, the right features, and the right price to really tangle with the big names like Corsair, Silverstone, Thermaltake, etc.

Build Quality

There’s nothing here that really reinvents the market. It’s all pretty straight forward stuff for this price range. However, the steel work is durable, the panels fit tight, nothing rattles. Whatever can be modular or removable, is as such. There are good quality dust filters on every intake too. Plus, two decent quality fans are thrown in for good measure. Honestly, it’s not revolutionary, but it’s perfectly competitive.

Added Value

The XPG Invader really stands out when it comes to the little details. Tempered glass and RGB are everywhere these days, but that doesn’t diminish the fact they’re still regarded as premium looking features. The PSU shroud too, we see them a lot now, but still a very welcome addition. There’s good cable routing, good fans, good filters, and even a built-in RGB controller. Again, it’s ticking all the right boxes.

Should I Buy One?

Available in a choice of black or white, the XPG Invader is a cool looking PC case. If you love a bit of tempered glass, a little RGB, and an easy to work with PC case that’s packed with interesting features, you really can’t go wrong here. A welcome alternative brand for this price range, and certainly one I expect to see more of in the coming years.
