Lets start with the left side of the chassis, which as you can see features a large custom shape clear acrylic window, giving you a fantastic view of the interior of the case, which as you can see is finished with metallic orange paint. The side panel also comes pre-drilled for mounting two 120/140mm fans as well as four ridges cut with air slats on their underside.

Across the top of the chassis we have a fantastic looking set of fins, which with the use of the manual slider in the center can be opened or closed to provide more airflow through to top of the chassis.

Here you can see the fins are open, below which there are fan mounting points on the inside of the chassis which we’ll take a closer look at shortly.

The front of the chassis comes fitted with a really stylish looking front panel, with some high quality black mesh providing great airflow from top to bottom, room for three 5.25″ drives and an adaptor for FDD or Card reader being built into the bottom drive panel. The panel also comes with bright orange panels on the sides of the front panel, these really add some nice detail to the air vents that are cut down the side of the front panel and again provide even more airflow.

Across the top of the front panel we have a really well laid out I/O panel, with two tall strip lights on the left and right hand sides for the power and HDD LEDs, Twin dial fan controllers (3 fans per channel), USB, Mic and Headset inputs. Above that you will find the power switch, a 2.5″ HDD dock and a rubbed covered area that has the AeroCool logo, this serves as somewhere to store your USB drives, screws or maybe just the loose change from your wallet, that part is up to you.

Around the back panel of the chassis we have a standard side panel, but it still keeps the same high quality black finish as the rest of the chassis and may in fact be the only panel that doesn’t have any orange on it.

Around the back we are treated to two water cooler or cable routing cutouts at the top of the chassis, a recessed 120/140mm fan mount with a 140mm pre-installed fan. Further down from there we have eight replaceable expansion slot covers, each cut with ventilation and finished in the same orange paint as the internal components of the chassis. Alongside that we have some further ventilation holes, two more water/cable cutouts and a bottom mounted PSU cutout that supports normal and inverse mounting of the PSU.

Under the hassis we have 4 high quality rubber feet that provide great ground clearance and help reduce and vibration from the chassis. This extra height helps provide airflow to the PSU or any base mounted cooling you install within the chassis. A 2/3 length slide out air filter ensures that you won’t be filling your system with any extra dust should you choose to mount any base fans in the chassis.
