On the left, we have the AFox GTX 1050 and on the right, the AFox GTX 1050 Ti. No wait, was it the other way around? I’m honestly not sure, they both look identical down to the smallest detail. That’s fine though, as there isn’t really a huge amount of difference between these chipsets anyway. They both have identical coolers, which again, that’s absolutely fine.
It’s not the most complex design, but it’s hardly running a supercomputer under there either. Cooling comes from two rather small fans with a blow-through radiator behind them. There can’t be much to it, as both cards are surprisingly light weight. Perhaps I’ve just gotten used to bulky and heavy enthusiast GPUs though.
There no backplate, but again, it doesn’t really need one. The cards pretty small and not heavy, so it’s unlikely to ever droop anyway. Plus, it’s not a chipset that’s known for getting screaming hot, so the passive cooling of a backplate isn’t going to help much. Also, it would drastically increase the price given this is meant to be an affordable GPU.
Finally, we can see each card has 1 X HDMI, DP, and DVI. Nothing crazy, but you shouldn’t have trouble hooking up different types of minitor at least. Right, onto the performance!
