How Much Does it Cost?

You can pick up the AFox graphics cards for pretty decent prices. The most affordable model is the GTX 1050, which is typically priced between £120-130. However, the more powerful GTX 1050 Ti model is typically around £150-160. They’re often stocked by smaller retailers and online stores though, so it’s best to have a dig around for the best deals.

Overview

There is a huge number of consumers out there that simply cannot afford a massively expensive PC. I myself and often asked “what can I build for £400-500” and something like the GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti would be an obvious fit in that budget. Keeping in mind, you still need a chassis, motherboard, CPU, RAM, HDD, PSU, OS, and any other acronyms I have forgotten. Quite often these builds are “my kids want to play Fornite, and use it for their “homework”.

Performance

It’s hardly going to set the world on fire, I know. If anything, the wealth of enthusiast cards we’ve reviewed makes their performance look worse than it is. It’ll get you past the resolution and frame rates of many modern console variants of the games we tested, as well as others. For those only wanting to play free-to-play games like Fortnite it’s more than up to the job.

Build Quality

The cards are pretty basic, there’s no hiding that fact, but there’s nothing wrong with them either. The coolers are obviously budget models, but they’re really all that is needed for a card of this class. You can buy more expensive models, but given the temperatures we had, I doubt you’ll see a performance improvement for the investment. The cards are small and light too, so they’ll fit smaller PCs easily too. Plus with three display outputs, hooking up various monitors should be a breeze.
