Amazon Releases Package X-Ray Update for Your Deliveries

Don’t you just hate it when your Amazon parcel arrives and you don’t know what’s inside? “Ah, but why not just rip the box open like a normal person” I hear you cry, “that’s what I do”. That’s all good and well, but what if you’ve ordered a gift for your loved one, or bought that expensive gadget your SO told you not to, toys for the kids, anything you want to keep a little private?
The new Package X-Ray feature from Amazon isn’t as cool as actually X-Ray vision, but it’ll allow you to scan the barcode on your parcels and see what is in each box. Like we said, this is great if you need to quickly find which box has your batteries and coffee in, but want to keep the box with the kids Christmas presents sealed and out of sight.
The feature is already available on their updated iPhone app, and is expected to roll out to Android in the near future, although no timeline was given for doing so.
To use the feature, load the Amazon app, tap the camera icon next to the search bar and select “package X-Ray”, and you’re good to go.
