Amazon UK Leaks(?) Intel Raptor Lake Processor Prices

Intel is expected to officially launch its new 13th-gen Raptor Lake desktop processors later today and while there is clearly a lot of anticipation surrounding their performance, I think it’s equally fair to say that with AMD Ryzen 7000 now available to purchase, consumers are going to have one eye firmly on where the best value for money may lie.

How much will Intel’s new processors cost though? Well, following a report via TechPowerUp, it seems that, accidental or not, Amazon UK may have just given us the answer!

Amazon UK Leaks Intel Raptor Lake Prices

We should start by noting that while the listings have gone live for several Intel Raptor Lake models, the prices may just be placeholders pending their formal announcement. With that being said though, the values look suspiciously in line with, roughly speaking, what most were expecting that at least suggests that following their official launch these may well be proven accurate.

  • i9-13900KF – £750.12
  • i7-13700K – £547.22
  • i7-13700KF – £516.58
  • i5-13600KF – £349.75

What Do We Think?

Presuming that these figures are accurate, then the bad news is that Intel seems to be applying a pretty hefty cost increase when compared to their 12th-gen Alder Lake counterparts. Overall, we’re looking at Raptor Lake being circa £50 to £100 more expensive. – With this in mind, therefore, they’re clearly already under a bit of pressure to ensure that while the comparative cost might be higher, the performance will undoubtedly have to match it (at least in some respect).

With AMD Ryzen 7000 available to purchase now, however, with Intel not expected to release Raptor Lake until mid-October, it is clearly going to be interesting to see how and who consumers choose to opt for!
