AMD’s Catalyst driver version 11.11 has just been released, but don’t rush as no real performance improvements are listed unfortunately.
Only real changes are a new feature along some fixes, although they still have quite a long list still remaining.
The new feature is the hardware accelerated graphics support for Adobe Flash Player 11 including the A-series and E-series APUs.
The fixes on the other hand include things like Rage texture corruption, bezel compensation working correctly in Far Cry 2 and a screen tearing fix for display in clone mode. Additionally, CAP 1 profile updates were added for Battlefield 3 (tweaks to the CrossFire profile), Global Ops: Commando Libya (improves CrossFire performance) and Driver San Francisco (disable CrossFire).
Basically, if you aren’t experiencing any issues with your current setup and driver, there is no need to update yet.
However, for more information about the update, you may read them here.
