AMD Ryzen 3 2200G Processor With Vega Review

Gaming Performance With Dedicated GPU

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

First up, we have our dedicated GPU testing. This is done with a 1080 Ti just like all our other CPU reviews. However, the iGPU has been disabled on the 2200G, allowing us to see how the quad-core performs in relation to other Ryzen and Intel CPUs in general.

In our DX12 testing of Deus Ex and Tomb Raider, it hit some great numbers, keeping pace with the Ryzen 5 and 7 series of CPUs, with around 90 FPS in Deus Ex and over 150 in Tomb Raider.

Moving into our DX11 testing, the VEGA 2200G still holds up a good fight, hitting over 100 FPS in the extremely demanding Ghost Recon, and 120 in Far Cry Primal. Interestingly, it beat out the 2400G in Far Cry by 19 FPS!

  1. “Bang For Buck” Award?

C’mon, that should be “Quidtastic” or “Power For Your Pound”.

With a little O/C on stock, included, cooler, you get a 1.5 TFLOPS GPU, for £99, that’s a bargain.
