Anonymous Take Control of North Korea’s Twitter and Flickr Accounts

Notorious (and loved by many) hacktivist group ‘Anonymous’ has launched ‘Operation Free Korea’ and have launched their first series of attacks of online attacks over North Korea. The group seem to have taken access of North Korean’s propaganda website ‘Uriminzokkiri’ and stolen passwords of 15,000 of its users. Its demands are that North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-Un must resign, abandon its nuclear programs and install democracy in the country. Since the group’s demands were not met, they have taken down many websites from Pyongyang, North Korea.

But the attack on their conspiracy website wasn’t the only attack by Anonymous. They’ve hacked North Korea’s Official Twitter and Flickr accounts and have targeted North Korean’s leader using series of and photos, such as the one above.

The group uploaded 4 photos in North Korea’s Flickr account including the picture of a fake ‘WANTED’ poster with Jong-Un with pig ears and snout, with a reason: Threatening world peace with ICBMs and Nuclear weapons/ Wasting money while his people starve to death/ Concentration Camps and the worst human rights violation in the world.

Anonymous also claimed that they have “few guys on the ground” in North Korea and said that they’ve managed to bring access to the internet into the country by using series of Wi-Fi repeaters with proprietary frequencies that are not yet jammed & even connection to Kwangmyong, the country’s national intranet connection.

Anonymous write the following message:

“To the citizens of North Korea we suggest to rise up and bring those mother******s of a oppressive government down! We are holding your back and your hand, while you take the journey to freedom, democracy and peace. Do not fear us, we are not terrorist, we are the good guys from the internet.”

But they also injects photos of kittens and porn into their intranet, saying that even North Korean citizens want to see “lulz kittehs” and “hawt pr0n” too.
