Another Intel Meteor Lake Core Ultra CPU without the iconic I branding have been spotted and shared online.

Intel Meteor Lake CPUs Spotted

User IntalLatX64 on Twitter (Via VideoCardz) spotted two Intel Core Ultra CPUs within Intel test machines. The two CPUs spotted were Intel Core Ultra 7 1003H which was spotted back in May, and the Core Ultra 8 1002H spotted yesterday. Both of these CPUs feature 6 performance cores, 8 efficiency cores and 2 SoC cores that are new for the Meteor Lake series totalling 16 Cores and 22 threads. Both of these chips are said to feature a base clock of 3.0 GHz.

No More I Branding

It has been confirmed by Intel that the I branding will be dropped from future CPUs which has been met with plenty of debate from fans. It does also seem that with this name change comes a change to the number system as well which doesn’t look too great. Core Ultra 1003 and 1002 just seem a bit odd and make it difficult to decipher when compared to 13500, 13700, 13900 and I feel it will lead to confusion although it could be temporary naming.
