Antec HCG 850w Bronze Power Supply Review

Over Power Protection and Max Wattage

At 850w, this power supply should give you more than enough for even a high specification gaming PC. It is, however, always nice to know that there is something extra there is it should ever be necessary. Under overpower testing, the Antec HCG managed to rack up an addition 337 watts before the protections kicked in. While it might be a stretch to say that this power supply could easily handle a 1000w load, it doesn’t seem outside the realms of possibility either.
