Final Thoughts

Price

The P100 is available from CCL Comptuers for £68.04, although most major retailers are selling it for around £5 more at time of writing. This isn’t especially cheap for a chassis, but for the features on offer and the build quality, it is on par with offerings from rival companies. Even better is that if you live in the US you can get the P100 from Amazon.com for just $79.99! (That’s only £47 in GBP!). Summery being that if you’re in the UK, this is reasonable value for money, if you’re in the US, it’s an absolute bargain.

Overview

I’ve been a fan of Antec chassis products for years, but to my mind it has been a while since something really great has come along from them. The P100 is a great chassis, even if it does lack innovation, it’s still a rock solid product, with all the features you’ll really need for a good workstation or gaming PC.

Antec rarely disappointed with their build quality and the P100 is no exception, all components lock and click into place perfectly, there are no loose fittings, no squeaky panels, and the chassis frame feels rock solid. I have no doubt that this chassis will look just as great in twenty years time, so long as you don’t scratch up that lovely front panel.

The design is a little bland, but I know a lot of people prefer that understated look. There are many people out there who don’t want to see their graphics cards all lit up, the don’t want to see or hear their tower at all, and the silent, stealthy look of the P100 is a great choice for those people. Of course understated doesn’t mean it has to be boring, that front panel may not have a loud design, but when you do notice it, it has a very high quality finish and look to it that will still look great next to your desk.

The interior design is superb, lots of room for extra airflow, easily accessible storage bays, plentiful cable routing space and high quality rubber grommets, sound dampening materials pre-applied and more. In fact, it is almost a shame this chassis doesn’t have a windowed side panel, because the interior really does look pretty great.

“The P100 may not offer innovation, but it is a well-rounded product with everything you need to build a high-end workstation or gaming rig. The clean exterior design and the stunning interior make it a job to work with while building and using your system. Plus if you’re able purchase it in the US, it’s incredibly good value for money.”
