On the left side, we’ve got the “it’s in the name of the product” feature, that huge side panel window, giving us a great view of the chassis interior, and something that’ll give you a great way to show off your new hardware.
Tucked into the left side of the front panel, you’ll also notice two pull-tabs, allowing you to remove and maintain the main dust filters for the front panel.
The right side panel is just a solid panel cut from thick steel, and both side panels are held in place with a pair of thumbscrews at the back, for quick and easy access to the interior.
The front panel is nice and bold, with an almost monolithic vibe going on. There are three 5.25″ drive bays with pop-out covers, and edge ventilation for the front fan/radiator mounts.
Around the back, you’ll find a 120mm fan mount with a fan pre-installed, eight ventilated expansion slot covers, as well as the PSU cut out; all pretty standard stuff, but everything you’ll need.
The main I/O panel is packed with features, offering up two separate fan controllers with a stop function, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, the usual power buttons, and HD audio jacks. What I do like is that all the ports have protective caps on, keeping the appearance nice and uniform, as well as free from debris.
The top panel is quite interesting too, as from stock it’s actually closed up pretty tight for maximum noise dampening, which is ideal if you’re not using the top fan/radiator mounts.
The top panel can be easily removed to be cleaned.
Below that, you’ll find three removable panels covering the fan/radiator mounts.
On the flipside of each panel, a thick layer of noise dampening materials helps keep the noise down even further and if you’re only installing a 240/280mm radiator, you can keep the smaller sections in place to plug the remaining hole.
With everything removed, you can easily access the top panel mounts, where you’ll find room for 120/240/280/360mm radiators.
On the base, you’ll find more dust filters, with one for the PSU air intake, as well as for the optional 120mm fan mount.
