Despite the size, this is a very capable gaming monitor. Everything I played on it ran smooth as silk thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate and FreeSync technology, no screen tearing and a nice and snappy 4ms response time make it very playable. Plus, it looks pretty stunning too thanks to the IPS panel and good brightness.
It also helps that it’s only “full HD” so getting to 144Hz in most games can be done on some pretty modest hardware too.
There are no issues with ghosting or motion blur either, it’s a very clean and responsive panel. There is an overdrive mode, which has good results on the lower settings but can ghost on the higher ones, but your mileage may vary based on your current frame rates.
Valorent looked great, and with FPS north of 550-650 at all times, it always felt smooth and responsive.
It felt a bit weird playing on Keyboard and Mouse like this, but honestly, I can’t complain, it just worked as advertised, it’s compact, it’s portable, plug-and-play, and is otherwise just a good gaming monitor in a very compact form factor.
