The new B450 motherboards feature hardware that’s surprisingly similar to that of the X470 motherboards, albeit with a few tweaks to the connectivity options. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that the performance closely matches that of the X470 counterparts, especially since we’re using the same CPU as per those reviews. Scoring 20801 in 3DMark and 5538 in Unigine, we’re only falling a tiny amount behind X470 here. PCMark 10 Express actually scored higher than our X470 benchmarks too. In WPrime, X470 saw a small advantage over our time of 99.825 seconds, but not by much. The same is also true for Cinebench, which scored a solid 1802, pretty much what one would expect from this CPU in any motherboard.
