We had no issues hitting the 4.2 GHz we knew our CPU was capable of, meaning we were able to squeeze a little extra performance from our system. The XFR2 technology does an amazing job of getting close to this performance on its own, so long as you have a good cooler. However, at the tradeoff of higher power usage, you can lock the frequency to something higher like we did. This saw a score of 20801 in 3DMark, which is pretty competitive. WPrime 1024 time dropped from 99.825 to 92.01, and Cinebench increased from 1802 to 1885. Not a huge leap up, but every little counts when it comes to rendering times.
