How Much Does it Cost?

While I can hardly believe it myself, the Gigabyte Aorus M3 RGB Optical Gaming Mouse is just £29.49. Admittedly that’s on sale down from a whopping £29.99, but hey, a deal’s a deal. I’m honestly struggling to think of a better mouse for equal or less money, and I’ll be damned if there is one. The Logitech G203 comes close, but has fewer buttons, doesn’t look as nice, and the ergonomics suck. Aorus, you’ve just defined the sub £30 gaming mouse market!

Overview

There are a lot of gaming mice out there right now, but clearly, there’s always room for one more. The Aorus M3 is by far one of the best on the market yet it’s priced on par with many brands budget models. It’s true that gaming mice are getting cheaper though. Budget sensors are coming up in quality quite nicely, and for under £30, it’s amazing just how well this mouse performs.

Build Quality

It doesn’t seem like Aorus has skimped out here at all, and the M3 feels very robust and well made. From the matte black finish to those durable rubber grips on the sides, it looks and feels great. Add to that the black braided USB cable, well tried and tested Omron switches that are good for 20 million clicks+, full RGB lighting, and that great sensor. You couldn’t ask for much more, even at twice the price of the M3.

Performance

Head to head, this isn’t on the same level as a £100+ precision tuned mouse from the likes of Logitech. However, it’s still better tuned than most and it’ll hold up well in competitive FPS titles where accuracy is critical. The sensor tracks smooth and clean, and with no acceleration issues, it’s great for work and gaming alike.

Should I Buy One

I don’t even need one and I’m tempted to buy one at this price. You could go and spend twice this money on a similar specification mouse and it wouldn’t really be much better. When it comes to great performance and affordability, the Aorus M3 takes the lead.
