The embargo has lifted and the latest RX 500 series Radeon video cards from AMD have been unveiled including custom versions from Gigabyte’s high-end gaming brand AORUS. The AORUS RX 580 XTR 8G gets upgraded features, however, such as a premium shroud design, dual 100mm fans instead of 90mm, and GPU-gauntlet sorting that ensures higher overclocks for users compared to other non pre-binned GPUs.

Other than the flagship XTR RX 580 8GB model, there will also be a more affordable non XTR 8GB and 4GB AORUS RX 580 video card option. The AORUS RX 580 4GB runs a slower 7000MHz memory clock matching the RX 570 model, while both RX 580 XTR and RX 580 8G have 8000MHz memory clocks out of the box.
