Cinebench
Incredibly, the AB350 took the top spot from the MSI X370, with Ryzen now completely dominating the top of the Cinebench performance charts.
Overclocking did see the board drop down to 4th place, but still a spectacular result.
wPrime
Again, we see the board beating out the competition, if only by a small amount. The R7 1800X kills it in wPrime vs the Intel offerings.
Once overclocked, we see a similar result, the AB350 only dropping down the charts due to the board not hitting as high an overclock as the X370 boards, which was to be expected.
SiSoft Sandra
Rock solid performance again, with the AB350 beating out the more expensive X370 Coreehair VI Hero from ASUS.
ASUS take the lead this time around, but the AB350 is still mixing it with the big boys of the X370 range.
3DMark
Again we see this board pulling ahead of some X370 offerings, very impressive.
Our lowerest score for 3DMark, but still only a few points behind the competition here; commendable for a much more affordable motherboard.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Since this is a gaming motherboard, after all, I’m happy to say it does an excellent job here64FPS. 64FPS is nothing crazy, but right on par with everything else on the market, so this board isn’t causing any bottlenecks here.
Overclocking gave it some benefit and it’s moved up our chart, however, it’s still the ASUS board that takes the lead by a long way.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Again, no bottlenecks, performance is right where we would want it to be.
Overclocking the chip brings a few extra FPS, and no issues to be found here again.
