I’ve reviewed a lot of LGA 1150 socket motherboards already and while all previous ones have been of the Z87 chipset, the particular Core i7 4770K we have should in theory reach its same maximum of 4.8GHz on B85 as well since overclocking is supported. That’s exactly what happened and 1.3 volts was enough to get the Core i7 4770K to 4.8GHz on the ASRock Fatal1ty B85 Killer motherboard.
