CINEBENCH is a real-world cross platform test suite that evaluates your computer’s performance capabilities. Stock performance on the FM2A85X is very strong leading the results in Cinebench and as you’d expect, the overclock saw a nice boost in performance to give us a CPU score of 3.84, up from 3.24.
Super PI
Super PI is a computer program that calculates pi to a specified number of digits after the decimal point—up to a maximum of 32 million. It uses Gauss–Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of the program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits.
Super PI saw the ASRock board showing us strong performance again when compared with the other FM2 socket motherboards on offer. The overclock as you’d guess did help to shave off 4 minutes of calculation time .
