ASUS Prime X670E-Pro WiFi Motherboard Review

temperature

The other key areas that are worth focussing on though comes down to VRM temperatures, which can differ wildly depending on the amount, the capacity of the current that can pass through them, and of course how the various heatsinks handle that power, which in turn, creates heat.

VRM Temperatures

Being right in the middle here is actually really a great result, especially when you look at the calibre of the motherboards this one is rubbing shoulders with. The idle temperatures are higher, due to the smaller mass of the heatsink, but when it comes to loads it’s clearly more than up to the job, peaking at 49c, which is actually 1c better than the equivalent ROG STRIX motherboard.
