ASUS has today announced the TUF Gaming AS1000 portable high-performance M.2 NVMe 1TB SSD with innovative cooling features to ensure performance is maintained.
TUF Gaming AS1000 Portable SSD
The TUF Gaming AS1000 is a 1TB portable NVMe SSD using a USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 connection to ensure high-speed transfers and compatibility with a variety of PCs, laptops and the latest gaming consoles. This SSD has been subjected to a rigorous battery of durability tests including the U.S-military-grade MIL-STD-810H drop test and IP68 water-and-dust-resistance tests standing up to its TUF naming.
In terms of performance, this external storage device features a blazing-fast M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD with sequential read/write speeds of up to 10Gbps which is up to 10x faster than a conventional external HDD. The drive is kept cool inside the aluminium-alloy chassis with an internal thermal pad which effectively dissipates the generated heat enabling stable data transmission and a longer lifespan for the SSD.
Availability
