As this laptop only utilizes a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080p, our usual 1440p and 4k benchmarks have not been included. It should, however, be noted that it does include a 144HZ display which is unusual for a laptop screen and is fantastic to look at. It doesn’t affect our testing in any way, but it is a positive factor which deserves to be highlighted in the ASUS ROG GL703G laptop.
With an 8th Generation Intel i7-8750H and Nvidia 1070 graphics cards (with 8GB of VRAM), this on paper should be a decent system. We were, again not disappointed. The processor and GPU perfectly compliment each other to give some very impressive results. A particular highlight is it giving the best ever results in term of minimum framerate for Far Cry Primal.
This is, in addition, the first time that we have included the use of the Final Fantasy XV benchmarking tool. In that instance, while there are no comparative results at present, scoring over 8,000 points is impressive.
