ASUS make really nice fans, and that’s something we’ve seen in their cases, coolers and graphics cards, to name but a few products. The ASUS Axiel fan design is at play here, with the ring around the edges of the blades joining them all together, which creates greater downward pressure; a good feature to have in a radiator fan!
Plus, there are some extra vents outside the reach of the fan blades, which will likely pull even more air through into the radiator.
The actual cooler looks stunning, with a white radiator, white tubing, and white pump, and any other fittings or materials are chromed to make it really pop.
The mounts for the tubing are black, but these are pretty much the standard movable mounts from Akatek, and you’re unlikely to see them once it’s installed. Beyond that, there’s this deep diamond-cut texture on the pump, which looks great and should look even better once it’s got some light and shadows cast on it.
The radiator is pretty much a standard 240mm radiator, and I love that ASUS cover both sides of their radiators with this plastic protective later. Just remember to remove it or you’ll find your PC gets very hot very quickly.
The fans are easily installed with four long screws each going through the built-in anti-vibration mounts, and with that, we’re ready to get this into our test case.
