ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F Gaming Motherboard Review

Power Consumption and Temperatures

Power Consumption

Surprisingly, the F Gaming used a fair bit more power than the other X470 motherboards. I mean, it’s not as much as some, but 189 watts is still about 30 watts more than the others at stock clocks. However, once overclocked, it didn’t really go up in power usage and was more in line with its rivals.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
