In Cinebench R15, the motherboard performs pretty well and is able to achieve commendable scores. Once overclocked, the ASUS STRIX Z270F GAMING remains very competitive almost matches the Gigabyte Z270X-Ultra Gaming.

Rather impressively, the motherboard doesn’t fall behind the ASUS MAXIMUS IX HERO and even forges ahead after the CPU was set to 5.0GHz.

Here we can see the motherboard obtains a decent set of scores although it’s eclipsed by many rival offerings. Saying that, the difference is tiny which makes the positioning seem less of an issue. Overclocking the CPU helps matters and allows it to post the best 5.0GHz result.

When running the 3DMARK Fire Strike benchmark, the motherboard did really well and outclassed the ASUS MAXIMUS IX HERO by a decent amount. Once overclocked, the performance was good albeit slightly adrift of products from rival vendors.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 

As you can see, the motherboard selection doesn’t really inhibit or improve the gaming experience. Despite this, it’s useful to show the ASUS STRIX Z270F GAMING can complement high-end graphics hardware.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

During the Rise of the Tomb Raider benchmark, the motherboard achieved a great result and almost broke the 120 frames-per-second mark. Overclocking the CPU enhanced the frame-rate by a small degree.
