Battlefield 4 Will Be AMD Gaming Evolved Title

EA’s upcoming blockbuster title Battlefield 4 will reportedly by part of the AMD “Gaming Evolved” program reports TechPowerUp. This means that the game could potentially become part of a Never Settle AMD bundle for the new upcoming Radeon RX-200 series in the near future when the RX-200 series is announced. AMD are also playing on the fact that it has full Direct X 11.1 support on all its HD 7700 series graphics cards and higher which Nvidia doesn’t offer (though it does offer support for the Direct X 11.1 features that matter – and that consumer games will actually use). Battlefield 4 will be able to take advantage of Direct X 11.1 providing you are using Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 as Direct X 11.1 is exclusive to Windows 8 based operating systems.
