be quiet!’s Straight Power 10 CM 800W power supply offers a cheaper alternative to their expensive Dark Power Pro 10 850W product while still remaining competitive with other offerings on the market. The 80 Plus Platinum drops to 80 Plus Gold, the number of features tail off a little bit and the price drops by quite a sizeable chunk. For most people the extra features and performance offered by the Dark Power Pro are nice, but they may just stretch the budget a little too far. The Straight Power 10 CM 800W offers a nice compromise for users with high-end systems but wanting to make smart buying decisions to get more for their money. Indeed the Straight Power 10 CM 800W power supply is a compelling buy for any high end user. As our results show the performance is excellent: voltage regulation, efficiency, PFC, ripple suppression and noise output are all impressive.
