How Much Does it Cost?

Amazingly, all of these mice are pretty competitively priced. However, with the cheapest one being the ASUS ROG Strix Impact II, that is a bit of a bargain for those looking for a quality mouse at entry-level prices. However, keep in mind it does have a lower specification too, but it holds up well. The most expensive is actually the SteelSeries Prime Mini Wireless, with an MSRP of £130, I was stunned to see that’s been dropped to £70 given the level of quality on offer, and making it just £1 cheaper than the excellent Corsair Nightsword RGB. The NZXT Lift and HyperX haste are roughly the same price, and both certainly give you the most bang for your buck in terms of price vs features!

  • NZXT Lift – £40
  • Corsair Nightsword RGB – £71
  • SteelSeries Prime Mini Wireless – £70
  • HyperX Haste – £45
  • ASUS ROG Strix Impact II – £31

Overview

I cannot stress enough how great all of these mice are. They’ve all held up really well in day-to-day usage and to some rather lengthy sessions in Apex Legends. So many sessions of Apex, in fact, this feature was meant to be written many days ago. Alas, it’s been fun, but what’s the best about each mouse?

The NZXT Lift, I just love the simplicity of it. NZXT doesn’t have loads of extra buttons, they don’t even have a particularly adventurous design either. It just feels well made, it’s lightweight, it looks nice, it’s comfortable and its performance is flawless. At this price, it’s a tough one to beat.

The Corsair Nightsword RGB certainly gives you the most features here, with additional programmable buttons and the most RGB customisation too. Having those buttons on the left top and the sniper button on the side give you a distinct advantage, but keep in mind, it is a little more expensive too.

The SteelSeries Prime Mini Wireless is about the same price as the Nightsword, but I’d say this is the most premium quality mouse here. It has one of the best clicks on any mouse ever too, and it’s wired and wireless performance are equally flawless.

The HyperX Haste is very similar to the NZXT mouse in terms of features and performance, which is no bad thing. However, the relentless weight shedding makes this super nimble, yet it still feels very durable. If you want fast and light, this is it.

The ASUS ROG Strix Impact II is just so damn cheap! For a mouse that allows you to swap out the switches, and comes with such a simple yet stylish aesthetic, it’s hard to ignore. Sure, the sensor is a little less advanced, but that didn’t stop it being a great gaming mouse, and at this price, it’s a great starting point for serious gamers on a tighter budget.

So, which one do you think you would pick? Let me know in the comments.
