The Realtek ALC887 audio codec provides an excellent listening experience across a wide range of sample rates. Furthermore, the decibel noise and dynamic range was impressive for a motherboard in this price bracket. Clearly, it’s not the best audio solution on the market, but it’s more than acceptable for the mainstream user.
