BIOSTAR RACING H170GT3 (LGA1151) Motherboard Review

Memory Performance

AIDA64 Engineer

As you might expect, the DDR4 2133MHz limit really impacts on synthetic performance numbers when you take into account the bench memory’s XMP profile runs at 2666MHz. Therefore, it’s important to compare the results with H170/B150 products. Here we can see the motherboard outperforms the majority of other products in its class and isn’t too far away from the SuperMicro C7H170-M.

SiSoft Sandra

The motherboard’s memory bandwidth remained fairly good given the 2133MHz frequency and competed favourably against other H170 products.

Combined Latency Test

In terms of latency, the motherboard fares much better than its closest rivals. However, it’s slightly adrift of the BIOSTAR GAMING H170T which exemplifies how well that particular product performed.
