The motherboard is fairly efficient and not overladen with features, so it’s fairly frugal with its power usage. Even when overclocking, I found it to be fairly reasonable. I didn’t have to pump excessive voltage into the CPU to get it to overclock to 5 GHz either, with just 1.37v doing the trick. Overall, it looks like BIOSTAR are onto a winner with their latest RACING series motherboard.
