BitFenix Alchemy 2.0 PSU Extension Cables Revealed

BitFenix Alchemy 2.0

The latest bit of modding hardware from BitFenix is here at last! I was a big fan of the original BitFenix Alchemy Cables when they launched a few years ago. They’re a simple upgrade in that you just connect them to your existing power supply cables. If you’re using a PSU shroud, you can easily hide the “ugly” end of your cable. However, you pass through the new extension component to your build, and ta-da! Everything looks slick and tidy, like the work of a pro system builder. Albeit for a fraction of the cost of custom sleeving all your cables.

“BitFenix is striving to provide high-quality chassis and modding accessories, offering diversity and customizability has always been a major focus. Today BitFenix is proud to announce the Alchemy 2.0 Extension Cable Kit, giving modders even more tools to tweak their systems.” – BitFenix

What’s in the Kit?

The new Alchemy 2.0 Extension Cable Kit contains extension cables for the 24-pin, the CPU, and two VGA power cables, thus enabling clean and organized cable management. Featuring high current alloy terminals and pure copper stranded cables, the performance loss of the power supply is kept to a minimum.

Premium Quality and Durable Design

The sleeved extension cables feature ultra-flexible cables, paired with a heat-shrink-less ultra-dense sleeving for premium quality, thus extending the lifetime and durability while at the same time providing great cable-management options. The BitFenix Alchemy 2.0 Extension Cable Kit comes in 9 different colors or color combinations to fit most of the color schemes used for system builds.

You’ll be able to pick up kids in black, white, red, blue, NV Green, black/white, black/red, black/blue, and black/NV green. No word on prices or retail availability. However, I’d expect them to hit stores any time now and prices to be pretty competitive compared to similar mod kits.
